In USA: A Californian Man Weds His Dog Eeeeeh!

Well my people On Monday history was made at the Chapel of Our Lady at the Presidio in San Francisco as the first-ever state recognized human-animal marriage took place.

Local resident 35-year-old Paul Horner was the groom during the ceremony. Joining him was his faithful dog Mac who is 36-years-old in dog years. Mac also decided to be the groom but ended up wearing a white veil at the last moment.

Father McHale who officiated the outdoor wedding told reporters he was extremely happy to be a part of this joyous moment of life. “This is the definition of true love my friends. There is nothing more sacred than the bond between a man and his faithful dog,” McHale said. “Now, since it is recognized as a legally binding marriage in the state of California, Mr. Horner and Mac will have all the same tax benefits and everything else coming to them that a regular married couple would receive. It’s a fantastic day to be alive!”So how could this have happened?

In the book of California’s State Laws and Regulations there is a little known law that was passed as the state was first forming in 1850. According to article 155, paragraph 10, it clearly states:

If a man and a man can get married and a woman and a woman can get married, if ever comes that day, then a human and animal will have the exact same rights to marriage in every eye of the law.  Continue after the cut....

The Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Thursday 30th January, 2014, confirmed the four Service Chiefs nominated by President Goodluck Jonathan.

They are: the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshall Alex Badeh; Chief of Army Staff, Major General Kenneth Minimah; Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Usman Jibrin and Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshall Adesola Amosu.

GOVERNOR ROTIMI AMAECHI REDUCED HIMSELF TO A DRIVER TO ACCOMPANY EL-RUFAI TO SSS HEADQUARTERS

It was a show of shame yesterday when a sitting governor of a state in Nigeria Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State reduced himself and his office to be a driver to a former Minister in Nigeria Mallam El-Rufai who was invited for interrogation by the State Security Service (SSS) in Abuja.

Amaechi who has in recent days accussed the government at the Centre for conniving with the Nigeria Police Force to be causing mayhem in his State was shamed when he was barred from entering the main office where Mallam El-Rufai was to be interrogated. After waiting aimlessly at the visitors’ waiting room for two (2) hours, he left the premises of the SSS without altering a word to the press.

The interrogation between SSS and Mallam El-Rufai lasted for fifteen (15) hours and was released to go in the early hours of today.

Bamanga Tukur Becomes The New Board Chairman Of Nigeria Railway Corporation

The immediate past National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Bamanga Tukur has been appointed Chairman of the Board of the Nigerian Railway Corporation. This was announced by the Special Assistant (Media) to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sam Nwaobasi.

President Goodluck Jonathan has also approved the appointment of Ghaji Ismaila Bello as Director General of the National Population Commission with effect from January 8, 2014.

Commenting on Mr. Tukur's resignation last Thursday, President Jonathan said:
"(...) Let us really thank the working committee led by Alhaji Bamanga Tukur. They have done very well. He didn't just wake up to be chairman of our party, he has paid his dues. He had held several offices and worked for this country and he has done very well.

"For us to make sure that we rest these issues, the party chairman agreed to step aside.... Myself and the chairman will go to the State House for some issues that we need to discuss. He is not guilty in anyway. I am going to give him a tougher job than that of party chairman."

It will be recalled that Mr. Tukur (b. 1935) resigned from his duties as the National Chairman of the PDP last week, and was replaced on Monday by former Bauchi governor Adamu Mu'azu.

Mr. Tukur succeeds Kawu Baraje as the NRC chairman. Mr. Baraje resigned amidst the PDP crisis in late 2013. A former factional chairman of the PDP, he has defected to the opposition, the All Progressives Congress.

President Jonathan is currently away in Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum.

REVEALED: Reasons Why President Jonathan Fired Nigeria's Army Chiefs

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday, sent packing his service chiefs and appointed new ones in their place.

Investigation conducted by a national daily revealed that the President's became necessary because of the cold war going on among the service chiefs, which has affected the counter-insurgency war in the Northeast against the Boko Haram sect. There were reports that the then chief of defence staff, Admiral Ibrahim and some of the service chiefs were having issues. This had led to the then chief of army staff, Lt. Gen. Ihejirika’s (who had been after his job) scheming against him and in the process, hijacking the prosecution of the war against terrorism.

According to a reliable source, when President Jonathan declared a state of emergency in Adamawa, Borno and Yobe, the CDS was mandated to preside over the prosecution. “But since it is the army that constituted most of the Joint Task Force operation team, the Army Council wanted to be in charge and this was allowed by the Presidency. The JTF was sacked; the army chief took over the war and set up the 7 Division of the army in Maiduguri. Although Ihejirika claimed setting up the 7 Division would bring the war to an end, it has not.”

Another source said whenever there was a victory over the insurgents, the army, through the 7 Division claimed the victory and this did not go down well with other security agencies like the Nigerian Air Force who are also deeply involved in the operations. Continue after the cut....

Thailand SnakeGirl Attracts Crowds Of Pilgrims And Tourists.......OMG!

According to the country’s top medical expert, Dr Ping Lao, the young girl suffers a very rare syndrome known as the Serpentosis Malianorcis or Jing Jing’s disease, which gives her lower body a distinct reptilian form and aspect. Only a handful of such cases have been recorded throughout history, so the scientific knowledge accumulated about the pathology is rather limited and there is no cure in sight at the moment.
8 year-old Mai Li Fay, from Bangkok, is far from living the usual life of a girl her age.

Everyday, thousands of people gather to the front of her family’s house to get a chance of seeing and possibly touching the young girl, a gesture which both buddhists and hindu pilgrims seem to perceive as a guarantee of good fortune. Culled

Photos: Since Age 20, This Weird 80-Year-Old Man Haven't Had His Bathe!

An 80-year-old Iranian man, Amoo Hadji, has not taken bath for 60 years! His skin is now scaly, and you can barely see his eyes and he smells to high heaven. The reason for not taking his bathe is not clear to anyone as he just refused to take his bath for the past sixty years. The (allegedly) 80 year-old man leads a fairly primitive life, with his most prized possession being a steel pipe... that he smokes animal dung with. Living in the village of Dezhgah (city of Farashband in Fars province of Iran), he seems to blend in with his surroundings. Click on read more to view more of his pictures….

Eat before you come to my birthday party: Michelle Obama to her guests

Michelle Obama has asked guests attending her 50th birthday bash at the White House next week to wear comfortable shoes practice their dance moves and eat before coming to the party as there will be no meal provided.

In a save-the-date email guests have been advised to dine before coming to the 'Snacks and Sips and Dancing and Dessert' party on January 18.

Michelle's actual birthday is on January 17 and she is currently enjoying President Barack Obama's gift - an extended vacation in Hawaii. The First Lady will celebrate the milestone birthday at the White House.

Michelle does not want to mess around with food at her 50th birthday party and therefore guests have been instructed to eat before they arrive at the White House, the New York Daily News reported.

The coterie of invitees received the email for the event, with strict guidelines to wear comfortable shoes, practice their dance moves and arrive with a full stomach a directive that has left some etiquette experts scratching their heads.

Michelle hinted about her birthday plans during last month's visit to a children's hospital, when a girl asked her about her big day. "It might involve some dancing," she told the girl. "A little Dougie."

The Dougie, a hip-hop dance, was one of the moves The First Lady performed on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon".

"I don't think it's rude, but I do think it's a little ... different," Lizzie Post, great-great-granddaughter of Emily Post, told the Washington Post.

"I've never seen it said straight out. That is definitely new," said Washington area party planner Andre Wells. Continue after the cut....
